Aahh.. the blog is up and running .
What a relief .
My partner in this endeavor, has finally found the time to do his part.
I shall repay in kind.
Never mind about that .
There are more important issues at hand here.
If you had bothered to read the post before this which my friend had been so kind to contribute, you would know what issue we're dealing with here.
The issue of the meat eaters and the vegans .
Well, since the time of the DINOSAURS(sorry, inside joke), living beings(even plants to some extent) have been classified as herbivores and carnivores.
Hey wait a minute, if plants were herbivores, they would be cannibals.
If they were cannibals, wouldn't that make them carnivores ?
Alright, enough about that.
But evolution created each species differently and we evolved basically, based on what we consumed.
Meat(God's greatest creation), from animals(and at times obtained from other sources, sources which are.. ah how do i put this?.... sources which are more .. human)(SALT AND PEPPER.. ah another inside joke).
Yes basically we were given teeth adapted to what we were meant(predestined) to chew upon and then absorb into our digestive systems(and eventually excrete as fecal matter, you would know all about that now, wouldn't you ?).
And let me tell you this, men(and women.. don't want to be sexist here.. i love women by the way) were NOT predestined to spend their lives chewing on leaves and other things of the sort.
It is not just me telling you this, but the way our teeth have evolved and that (uncontrollable) urge to consume the flesh of other(sometimes our own) species.
Tell me vegans, living on a diet of plant matter aren't you at the least bit tempted to eat meat?
But why don't you do so ?
You would give me a long(pointless) lecture on saving the animals blah, blah, blah .
But then i ask you(as did my friend) what about the plants ?
By devouring vegetative matter aren't you bloody killing the plants ?
And contributing to global warming while you're at it.(lesser plants -> lesser photosynthesis -> lesser absorption of carbon dioxide -> increase of greenhouse gases -> depletion of ozone layer -> BINGO! Global warming)
It may seem to you that this topic has been discussed by me purely to appear intelligent(i have no need for this) or merely for comic effect.
But ask yourselves, do i not have a point ?
Some of you are being vegetarians for the solely narcissist purpose of feeling a sense of fulfillment or a sense that you are helping the environment in some way or even use being vegan as a ruse to diet and lose weight or something.
But are you really helping the environment ?
Go figure.
